Welcome to Oshawa! Oshawa Orientation – Student City Takeover is a month-long celebration designed to help post-secondary students get connected, explore the city and discover everything Oshawa has to offer beyond campus.

Presented by the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Oshawa, Durham College, Ontario Tech University and Trent University Durham GTA, Student City Takeover brings students and the community together through a full calendar of events, activities, local experiences and opportunities throughout September.

Explore downtown Oshawa, discover local businesses and attractions, meet other students, enjoy exclusive student discounts and take part in everything from live entertainment and trivia to bowling, karaoke, community activations and more. Plus, our month-long scavenger hunt gives you even more reasons to get out and discover the city you're studying in!

Whether you're new to Oshawa or returning for another year, Student City Takeover is your opportunity to meet new people, find some new favourite spots and make Oshawa feel a little more like home.
