• Engaging Conversations on Leadership & Management: Join Erika Andrusiak, owner of Durham First Aid Inc., as she leads a discussion on what makes a strong leader, balancing vision with execution, empowering teams, and staying resilient through challenges. With a background in Urban Planning and a passion for first aid instruction and community leadership, Erika transitioned from a corporate career to entrepreneurship. After successfully growing first aid programs at the Durham Branch of the Canadian Red Cross, she launched Durham First Aid in 2018. Recognized for her impact, Erika was named Business Person of the Year at the GOCC's 2025 Business Excellence Awards, celebrating her commitment to safety, education, and business leadership.
