Join us on navigating Canadian healthcare, covering OHIP, government roles, hospitals, and services, led by Oli.
Oli is hosting a free informative workshop designed to help students, newcomers, and individuals better understand how Canada’s healthcare system works. This session provides a clear overview of how healthcare is structured, funded, and delivered, with a focus on Ontario. Facilitated by: Eldora & Janelle What You’ll Learn - Roles of the federal and provincial governments - How publicly funded healthcare works - Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP): eligibility and coverage - How hospitals operate and the services they provide - What to expect when accessing healthcare services.
The workshop concludes with an interactive group activity and a Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to apply their learning and ask questions in a welcoming and supportive environment.
