Join us for the annual Mayor’s State of the City Luncheon, featuring a fireside chat between Mayor Dan Carter and Jennifer Alsop, Director of External Relations and Partnerships at Ontario Tech University. 

Connect with business leaders, community members and local officials while hearing firsthand from Mayor Carter and Jennifer Alsop about the initiatives shaping Oshawa's future.

About the Speakers:

Mayor Dan Carter: Serving as Mayor of Oshawa since 2018, Mayor Carter has a compelling personal journey from overcoming homelessness and addiction to becoming a dedicated public servant. His leadership focuses on economic growth, social services, and community development.

Jennifer Alsop: Jennifer leads the advancement of Ontario Tech’s external engagement strategies, driving impactful new partnerships and deepening existing ones, while positioning the university as a partner of choice for transformative collaborations.
