The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Durham First Aid, is hosting a Red Cross Blended Learning Course on Friday, November 22nd, to ensure your workplace is certified.
Classes are available for businesses with 1-5 employees (half-day session) or 6+ employees (full-day session). Once registered, you will be issued an online portion of the course that will take approximately 4 hours to complete, and then you will join us for a fun-filled half-day or full-day session on Friday, November 22nd, to practice your skills. Once completed, you will have your Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level C training, and your workplace will be compliant!
Basic First Aid Course for Businesses with 1 – 5 employees:Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level C training Blended Learning: 4 hours online (self directed) + 1/2 day in class on November 22nd9:00am – 2:30pm
The course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. Course meets legislation requirements for Ontario Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Labour and WSIB and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Blended Learning Course means a course which has an online component to be completed before attending the in-person training. Once registered, participants will receive a link to the Red Cross Portal, where you will complete a self-directed online course of 8 modules. The in-person portion of the course will occur from 9:00am to 2:30pm on Friday November 22nd. Certification is valid for 3 years.
Basic First Aid Course for Businesses with 6+ employees:Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C trainingBlended Learning: 4 hours online (self directed) + full day in class on November 22nd9:00am-5:00pm
This is a comprehensive course for workplaces with 6 + employees. It offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for Ontario Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Labour and WSIB and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Once registered, participants will receive a link to the Red Cross Portal, where you will complete a self-directed online course of 13 modules. The in-person portion of the course will occur from 9:00 to 5:00pm on November 22nd. Certification is valid for 3 years.
